Fellowship & Fundraising

There are many, many ways to enjoy fellowship within the parish community -- from weekly Bible Study gatherings to outreach projects such as the group that prepares food for Cornerstone Women's Shelter; to the councils and committees formed to manage the churches and special initiatives.

All three points of the Parish of March hold a series of fellowship and/or fundraising events throughout the year:

At St John's, watch for the monthly "Music for a Sunday Afternoon" concert series, Advent Carol Service, a Festive Evening Event in November/December, and a Christmas Lunch & Bake Sale.  A popular Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper is held to begin Lent.  Now in its 90-something year, the Lawn Supper is held in June. A Giant Yard Sale is held annually, as well as a number of fundraisers to benefit operations or outreach initiatives.  Special gatherings are held on the labyrinths, such as the walk on All Saints' Day or All Souls' Day, World Labyrinth Day in May, or the summer solstice.

At St Mary's, watch for the annual Raspberry Social in July and the Corn Roast in August.  St Mary's hosts a number of creative events throughout the year to meet the community.

At St Paul's, watch for a Spring fundraiser, and an annual Christmas Lunch & Bazaar end of November or beginning of December.

Messy Church is held occasionally for families, a Youth Group -- Young@March -- meets Monthly, and the Parish of March Youth Choir is active in the Parish and beyond.

Please keep an eye on the Parish of March Facebook page for a current listing of services and events.
