St John's 175th Anniversary Celebrations
St John's South March celebrated its 175th Anniversary throughout 2014.

January 18th - Choral Evensong & Potluck Supper (Complimentary tickets required for limited seating at supper)
February 15th - Spaghetti Supper by Young@March for PWRDF Syrian Relief
March 4th - Annual Pancake Supper 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm (tickets available in advance or at the door)
March 30th - Potluck Lunch with the Kanata Muslim Association (KMA) (Complimentary tickets required for limited seating)
April 18th - Good Friday Kanata Ecumenical Walk of the Cross at Noon -- beginning and ending at St John’s. Labyrinth Way of the Cross also available for those unable to walk the distance.
April 19th - St John's Choir Performance (click here) Requiem by Rutter, with Cantiamo Girls Choir performing Stabat Mater by Pergolesi. Chamber ensemble. (at St Paul's Hazeldean, 20 Young Rd., Kanata)
April 26th - Victorian Tea and Period Clothing Fashion Show
May 11th - St John’s Life in Words & Music
June 7th & 8th - 175th Anniversary Luncheon (Saturday 11 am - 1 pm) and Doors Open Ottawa (Saturday and Sunday 10 am - 4 pm)
June 21st - 91st Annual Lawn Supper, and Silent Auction
June 22nd - St John’s Memorial Service, 10:30 am
June 29th - Eucharist with Archbishop Fred Hiltz, Primate of the Anglican Church of Canada
July 20th - Eucharist with Re-dedication of the Cornerstone. Special Proclamation by Jim Watson, Mayor of Ottawa.
September 3rd - Guest Speaker Dr. Glenn J Lockwood, Diocesan Archivist, followed by dessert
September 14th - Back to Church Sunday & 6th Annual Parish of March Picnic (at St John’s)
October 4th - Gala Dinner with guest speaker Dr. Bruce Elliott (Historian)
